We just had our first taste of really cold temperatures! It could serve as a reminder to get prepared for possible winter storms. Dig out those scarfs, gloves, and boots stored away all summer! In Western Kentucky we can experience extreme cold, freezing rain, snow, ice and high winds - sometimes in one day! These conditions can last a few hours or a few days. 

In addition to frostbite and hypothermia, extremely cold temperatures and wind chill can cause pipes to burst, flooding your home or business.
