When Storms Cause Water Damage-Do's and Don'ts

This year we received a significant amount of rain during the winter months and the flood gates had to be installed. What Not To Do:

1. Do not use your household vacuum to remove water.
2. Do not turn on ceiling fixtures if ceiling is wet.
3. Do not leave wet fabrics ups. Hang fur and leather goods.

What To Do:

1. Turn air condition on for maximum drying in the summer.
2. Remove colored rugs from wet carpeting.
3. Remove art objects and collectibles to a safe, dry place.
